Mi Amore!

I saw this tag over at Ashley's The Happily Ever Afters of the Lancasters. Since Love is the theme this month, I thought this would be perfect. In honor of my sweetheart ~here is my hubby tag!

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?
The Biggest Loser, LOST, 48 hour mystery, Dateline, COPS, Law and Order, E.R.,or sports of some kind (especially football.) Because of his work schedule, he never gets to watch anything on a regular basis, but these are the shows he likes.

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad?
Ranch.

3. What's one food he doesn't like?
Vegetables. He is so a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I have to remind him that "little eyes" are watching him. If he eats them, our son will at least try them. So, he's pretty good at pretending he likes them, now.

4. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order?
Diet Pepsi.

5. Where did he go to high school?
Grenada High School

6. What size shoe does he wear?
13 - 12 in dress shoes.

7. What is something he likes to do but never gets to do?
Golf, hunting or fishing when we're back home, spend as much time as he wants with our children, or relax and do nothing. He rarely seems to have an entire day off. Even when he is off during the week, he has to give presentations once a week to the 3rd and 4th year medical students, go to R-PAC in Columbus, or go to Cleveland for their weekly Emergency medicine resident skills training.

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
Probably pulled pork. He also enjoys the Italian combo from Panera Bread, the spicy chicken from Wendy's, or a good cheeseburger.

9. What would he eat every day if he could?
Steak and potatoes.

10. What is his favorite cereal?
Fruity Pebbles or Honey Smacks.

11. What would he never wear?
Pink, or anything remotely feminine. He also won't do turtle necks. He definitely has his own style and isn't interested in trends.

12. What is his favorite sports team?
Depends on what sport you are talking about. I think he has favorites in each category.

13. Who did he vote for?
We are very conservative, so -republican.

14. Who is his best friend?
Me!~hee-hee! I think his best guy friend would be Kurt, Chad or Jason.

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do?
Squeeze the toothpaste in the middle of the tube, or when I get behind in doing laundry. Or, sometimes I take on too many projects at the same time and then get stressed out.

16. What is his heritage?
As far as I know mostly Irish and Scottish.

17. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind?
He's not a huge birthday person, so he'd appreciate any cake or nice dinner I took the time to make. Or even just taking him out for a nice dinner date just the two of us. -That's more his style.

18. Did he play sports in high school?
No. He was in the Grenada High School Band, which was the best in the state and 13th in the nation at that time.

19. What could he spend hours doing?
Sleeping---and he needs all the rest he can get with his crazy schedule!

20. What is one unique talent/gift he has?
He is a great doctor. He has been praised by other doctors for his wonderful bedside manner. He is not only helpful, but has a very down to earth and calming effect on patients. We've had people stop us from time to time in the store or on the street to say, "Dr. Taylor, do you remember me? You took care of my mother, or my grandfather, or brother...." It warms my heart and makes me so proud to be his wife.

Tiff, this is so sweet! What a precious man you are married to, and what a healthy love you two share!

I am THRILLED to know he is involved in local/state politics. I believe how we got in this mess is from good people being so busy living their lives they left the "politics" to the "politicians". Lord have mercy on us all!

This is probably my favorite part (I think!) "He is a great doctor. He has been praised by other doctors for his wonderful bedside manner. He is not only helpful, but has a very down to earth and calming effect on patients. We've had people stop us from time to time in the store or on the street to say, "Dr. Taylor, do you remember me? You took care of my mother, or my grandfather, or brother...." It warms my heart and makes me so proud to be his wife."

Pray for him, Tiff! Specifically, all the time. For favor, wisdom, and refreshing.

I left you something at my place, when you have time check it out. No hurry. I know your life is busy!

Hugs,
Maria
