I was tagged by Marsha to play a “Who Are You?” Meme.
- The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
- Each player answers the questions about themselves.
- At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people, posts their names, and then leaves a comment on their blogs, letting them know they've been tagged.
What was I doing 10 years ago?
~ 10 years ago, I was in my junior year of college, and living in my first apartment with my best friend.
~ Performing! Staring in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Singing/Acting in 3 ensembles on campus, drama w/ the BSU, singing and traveling w/ the Wesley praise band, singing and assistant directing a community all girls choir, preparing for N.A.T.S. competition, singing and helping our university host honor choir and the regional Metropolitan Opera auditions.- Did I mention singing?
~ Hugh and I had been dating for three years and we were praying about marriage and God’s plan for us!
~ Trying to balance 21 hours a semester with my first “real” job at K.C.’s Restaurant. I say “real job” as in 40 hours a week. There is no “part time” at K.C.’s; mainly due to the fact that they are the only nationally rated 4 star restaurant in Mississippi. You spend a lot of time in training, before they trust you out on the floor alone. So, they don’t waste their time training someone for “part time” work. It was quite a challenge, but as I look back on it now, I’m very grateful to have had the experience to work there. I learned the value of hard work, which in turn instilled in me a strong work ethic. I learned a lot about food, wine, and service, fine dinning and entertaining. And I got the opportunity to meet a lot of famous chefs and famous people.

Oh, to be a better listener - that is one of my goals, too.
I want to know about people, and I want them to know that I care. I've realized that will never happen if I don't stop talking an listen!
What a great post to land on - the first time I've visited and I feel I have gotten to know you nicely! *grin*
Loved reading this Tiffany and learning more about you. You sound really gifted in music.
Susan
Thanks for doing this, Tiffany! I really enjoyed getting to know you better through this meme.
I love music (Can you tell from my blog!). I taught elementary and middle school music at a Christian school for many years. I also led choirs and special seasonal programs for kids. Lots of fun, but lots of work.
It's amazing, each person I've tagged we have so many things in common. (I would have tagged our sweet friend Denise, but she was tagged by the same person who tagged me! We have a lot in common, too.)
All I know is, heaven is going to be a wonderful place full of lots of friends of all ages - oh, that's right - no age there! Yippee!
:) You and I share the same bad habits. Especially that last one! I have got to work on listening!!!
I just get excited, too! Or I want to be sure they know I understand. :)
Blessings, sweet Tiffany!
You have had a fascinating life, and it's early yet! You've got lots left ahead of you!
And I can relate to ALL your bad habits!

-you're snack list is so good and low calorie that it makes me SICK!!(of course i say this ONLY out of love for you)
-you're so interesting!
-i love that my brother so WAY MARRIED out of his LEAGUE when he married you, my friend!!
Fun to meet another Tiffany. I loved your insight about Oprah. Sounds like I wasn't the only one who liked her and then felt heartbroken..
Got a deadline soon. Need to get back to paid writing. But couldn't pass an opportunity to meet a new blogging friend.
I hope to be back.
Your life 10 years ago sounds a lot like mine. I was a music major, too! I also survived a 21 hour sememster in college, but didn't have the part-time job. I can't imagine doing that along with a job! Yikes!
