Ok, I realize that Monday is coming to a close, and that I'm late getting this up today, but the following verses are a burden on my heart right now! I am still in the process of memorizing them. However, I felt strongly compelled to share them. Lately, the Lord has impressed upon me what it means to be "holy." I also have developed a strong desire for a "meek and quiet spirit!" I just feel like I'm in a gentle re-molding process. Which is a refreshing change from the refiner's fire. I'll have more to share on this later. I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the week! Blessings!

1Peter 3:3-5 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment....
Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands.

Psalms 37:11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.

James 1:19 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

Ecclesiastes 4:6 Better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.

Proverbs 17:1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

1Peter 5:5-10 Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be self‑controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith
, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

These are great verses. Do you manage to memorise them all? I think in my old age (40) I can only manage a few :-). I looked at your counter on the left - is one of your children celebrating a birthday today? I have my oldest turning 7 on Feb 21st...my, time has gone so very, very fast.

These are great, Tiff! You know, the one from James, I at one time had as a rolling marque on my PC at work (this was a few years ago). Because I was just DESPERATE for God to change me in that area!

I am so grateful that He has & continues to work changes in me! So grateful!
