A Commitment to Loveliness

It's time for another Commitment to Loveliness, hosted by Emma at Charming the Birds from the Trees! In her own words...It is a fun way to increase femininity and beauty in our lives each week without even trying! All you have to do is choose five things that you would like to work on or do during the week that will increase the loveliness in your life!

Here is my list for the week:

1. I'm going to hang my roses to dry, and then find a beautiful vase to display them in!

2. I'm going to tidy up the house, and prepare my menu for my holiday Taste of Gourmet open House, I'm hosting on February 12th.

3. I'm going to unpack two place settings of my fine china, give them a gentle wash, and use them for our Valentine's dinner.

4. I'm going to prepare a song to share in church this month! This is big for me, because I haven't been able to sing in public since my mom's funeral. So, please pray for me!

5. I'm slowly working on making a vintage sock monkey for both Trey and Anna Grace!

Have a great week and Blessings to all!

I don't know about Taste of Gourmet. Will have to check that out.

Great plans you have! I love using our china...I'd like to use it every Sunday just to make the day more special. Now that my cabinet is cleaned out, I can give it a try.

Saying a prayer for your singing. Let us know how it goes.

I read your comment on HoldingLittleHands and had to laugh because I was recently in the same situation with my son. My family felt it their gift to me to begin the lovely task of potty training my son as I was giving birth to my sweet little girl. Potty chair and all, I've put it off for the past four months. Your comment just made me laugh and say AMEN!
